Summer camp

We are organizing a summer camp in Alumim this year. Not only our children but the children from other cities of Ukraine‚ Kiev‚ Odessa‚ Krivoi Rog‚ Kremenchuk‚ Sevastopol and Zhitomir will have an opportunity to attend the camp.
School practice

The academic year has just ended. For some our children it is a graduating year moreover. The classes are over but both at the school and on the territory of the center Alumim the work is humming – this is the so-called practice.
Families aid program

In the big and small communities of Zhitomir Region with the assistance of the Friendship Fund (Fund Yedidut)‚ and with the participation of the Alumim Home for Jewish Children‚ the unprecedented campaign as the part of the aid program to the Jewish children from needy‚ single-parent and difficult families was held.
School graduation

We have five school graduating students this year. Two of them are the graduates of the fourth classes and three pupils are the graduates of the eleventh classes. At the ceremony‚ that took place in school‚ participated the stuff of Alumim. It was very exciting to see these students‚ who came from such a problematic background‚ standing there‚ with smiles on their faces‚ and graduating school successfully.

Gardening Day!

Alumim recently launched a special gardening project with the goal of enhancing the beautiful‚ pleasant atmosphere of our campus and teach lasting messages to the children. In the afternoons‚ the children‚ housemother‚ and counselors planted flowers and grass in our large yard. Excitement in creation‚ value of cooperation‚ and desire to enhance and improve were the focuses of the day.
