A new health clinic has opened for the children of the Alumim Home. The clinic will have pediatricians come periodically to conduct routine examinations of the children. In addition, the clinic houses a nurse′s room where children come for all medical complaints, however minor. The children are treated on the spot by the dormitory nurse and if necessary, she accompanies them to the relevant doctor.
Another active room in the clinic is the treatment room. This room contains a variety of equipment for conventional and alternative treatment, like nebulizers, quartz lamps, a host of medical accessories. Children who are in need of treatment are brought into the room and make use of the equipment under the nurse′s guidance.
Within the clinic compound there is a dental care room which is scheduled to be opened soon for the treatment of the dormitory children and other children assisted by Alumim.
