We are happy to share that this past Hanukkah was celebrated with great joy, warmth, and inspiration across our communities — in the Jewish community of Zhytomir, within our school and kindergarten, and at the Alumim Children’s Center in Ashkelon, Israel.

Throughout the eight days of Hanukkah, the children experienced a truly meaningful holiday. In Zhytomir, the school and kindergarten were filled with light, songs, educational programs, and festive activities that strengthened the children’s connection to their Jewish heritage and traditions. Community members came together to celebrate, creating a sense of unity, continuity, and hope during challenging times.

At the Alumim Children’s Center in Ashkelon, our children enjoyed a special Hanukkah filled with care and joy. They participated in outings and trips, received new clothing and thoughtful gifts, and took part in holiday activities that brought smiles, laughter, and a deep sense of belonging. For many of these children, these moments provided not only celebration, but also emotional security and warmth.
